Ellis (55) won all eleven of his hard bat (sandpaper surface) matches in the 32-player tournament in Guernsey to win a place in the World Championship final at Alexandra Palace in London on 24 and 25 January.
Ellis said: ‘I’m so chuffed; it was brilliant, I lost just one set during the whole event where I won all of my eleven matches.’
