The domination of the Channel Islands’ various age groups by Jersey teams was, quite rightly, highlighted. Indeed, home-grown talent and recognising efforts behind the scenes was a theme of the evening.
Jerseyborn Daryl Wilson’s electric form in the opening months of the season was rewarded with the evening’s headline prize, the Premiership Footballer of the Year.
