Gareth Callan (47), who is sponsored by his employer Standard Bank, has been shooting for Britain for over 20 years and is no stranger to international competition, but this is his first captaincy.
He takes a team of five to Cape Town tomorrow for the week-long championships and is optimistic about their medal chances.
