Former Channel Islands champion Gavin O’Neill shot his second four-over-par 75 of the tournament yesterday to move up one position to fourth. O’Neill is on 227 for his three rounds, one stroke behind Michael Wight of the Cayman Islands after Wright returned only the second under-par score of the week, a 70.

Collectively it was a slightly disappointing day for the men’s quartet as they dropped out of the team silver medal position to fourth, where they now trail third-placed Åland by four shots.

Sam Crenan’s 79 was his second-best score of the week, while Nick Wildman and CI champion Matthew Parkman returned their highest scores of the week – 80 and 81 respectively.
