A further five races were completed in the windsurfing regatta on Tuesday, taking the overall tally to 15 out of a possible 20. Millar is the leading Jerseyman, but is currently 14 points behind the bronze medal position, so he will need a miraculous final day of racing if he is to pick up an individual medal.
Steve Melia is currently in eighth place, Chris Le Masurier ninth and Andy Hart 12th.
The combined efforts of Jersey’s windsurfers place them in line for the team gold medal should all go to plan on the final day today at Spanish Point Boat Club.
