Halksworth eyes a title hat-trick

This year’s event is likely to be as tough as ever with all those participating having to complete a 1.5 km swim in the sea at Bel Royal, a 40 km bike ride through six parishes and a 10 km run along the cycle track to St Aubin’s and back.

Halksworth, who is Jerseyborn and has won this event on the last two occasions, in times of 1 hr 54 min 58 sec in 2010 and 1 hr 57 min 52 sec last year, confirmed that he will be defending his title.
