Only last month the Cho’s Tae Kwon Do Jersey fighter was celebrating a bronze medal in her first WAKO Light Contact Kickboxing World Championships.

However, she has eclipsed that already with her gargantuan effort in the Full Contact WAKO World Championships earning her a gold medal and world title in only her first year on the GB team.

Markowska said: ‘I have experienced the best feeling an athlete can possibly have. Winning the most prestigious world title was awesome and I felt it with every single sense in my body.’
