Hundreds of Islanders have taken advantage of the fine evenings this week to visit the Dreaming Trees illuminations in Howard Davis Park. Inspired by the work of Dr Suzanne Simard, whose scientific research has proved how trees communicate over a ‘Wood Wide Web’, the park has been transformed into a magical show of light and sound.
Organised by the Department for Infrastructure, Housing and Environment, in association with the Creative Island Partnership and sponsored by Rathbones Investment Management International, it was opened by the Lieutenant-Governor, Vice Admiral Jerry Kyd, on Sunday night and will run every evening this week from 6pm-9pm until Sunday 19th February.
