AN orange thunderstorm warning has been issued for Jersey, with localised flooding and damage possible tonight.
Jersey Met said thunderstorms were expected to affect the Island at times during the five hours from 7.30pm on Wednesday.
The warning said flooding of roads or property was likely, while standing water could affect low-lying land and roads.
Lightning could damage infrastructure, with localised damage from hail or strong gusts also possible.
The warning was issued at 7.07pm on Wednesday 26 August and is due to remain in force until 12.30am on Thursday.
