THREE Guernsey residents have been sentenced for a series of sex crimes – including sexually abusing a dog.
Peter Beau Leigh (73) was jailed for two years and ten months for a number of sexual offences – including possession of extreme pornography, animal cruelty crimes, and telecommunication offences.
He appeared in Guernsey’s Royal Court on Friday alongside Ian Chatting-Tonks (63) and Elaine Pasquier (67), who received 220 and 170 hours of community service respectively for their crimes – which also involved the dog.
The trio forced the animal, which belonged to Chatting-Tonks, to undertake various sexual acts and captured it on video.
Judge Catherine Fooks described the offences as “shocking and revolting”, warning those present in court that they may find the content of the case “graphic, distressing or offensive”.
Alongside their individual sentences, all three defendents were disqualified from owning a dog for the next ten years.
But the trio was given credit for entering guilty pleas at the earliest opportunity, and for all “fully co-operating with law enforcement and the courts”.
Leigh and Pasquier also admitted to two separate counts of indecent behaviour, where they were seen engaging in sexual acts in public.
