THE Jersey Old Motor Club is encouraging Islanders to watch its 56th ‘Boxing Day Run’ that will see festively-decorated vintage cars driven past all 12 parish churches.
JOMC president Joan Gardner said around 70 vehicles were expected to take part in this year’s cavalcade on 26 December.
“It’s one of our bigger events,” she said.
“We get so many people coming out to wave us on our way.
“It’s a lovely atmosphere – it’s fun.”
She noted that this year would also involve a “regroup” stop at Strive in St Peter, to help ensure the cars stayed together over the course of the event.
