LOVE might be in the air next Valentine’s Day but so too will the branches of fantastically illuminated trees in the Howard Davis Park.
Organisers of ‘Dreaming Trees’ have said the illuminations will return from Saturday 14 February until the following weekend. This covers the school half term break.
Founder Bruce Labey said: ‘We will be launching Dreaming Trees 2026 on Saturday 14 and that will run as a free event every night until Friday. On Saturday 21, we will be having a corporate event as part of our fundraising work so the park will be closed to the public for that night only. Our hugely popular neurodivergent evening will be held again on Sunday 22 February.’
The display has drawn thousands of people to the park since 2023. The inaugural kaleidoscopic illuminations attracted around 17,000 visitors in less than a week.
This year’s event was held in October.
