ISLANDERS looking for a festive European getaway will be able to fly directly on a new route to Bruges this December.
Blue Islands have unveiled a direct route to Bruges which will take off in December this year.
There will be a total of three flights from Jersey between 4 and 13 December which will give Islanders the opportunity for a day return, two-day or three-day trip.
Passengers will be taken into the centre of the city from Ostend Airport by coach, where they can then attend Bruges’ Winter Christmas Glow Market.
With roughly 150 stalls, the market also boasts a floating ice rink, a light experience trail around the city and winter themed bars.
Blue Islands chief executive Rob Veron added: “Bruges is a magical destination at Christmas and our direct flights with included transfers make it easy for Islanders to experience the joy of a European Christmas market break that’s just a short flight away.”
