A DOUBLE-DECKER bus crashed into the building above Liberation Station this morning.
The Esplanade between Castle Street and Conway Street was closed after the incident at around 6.30am, as emergency services rushed to the scene.
States of Jersey Police asked Islanders to avoid the area.
LibertyBus confirmed that all buses will terminate at the Esplanade due to the incident, with outbound services departing from the same point.
The crash is the third such incident in the past decade, with similar incidents taking place in July 2015 and March 2019 – with a passenger being treated at Jersey General Hospital after the former collision.
