THE police are seeking witnesses to a collision between a car and a pedestrian near the bus station at the weekend.
In an appeal for information, the force said that a white Mini Cooper heading west collided with a male pedestrian on the zebra crossing between Liberation Square and Conway Street on Sunday at around 1.46pm.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries, which will require surgery.
