Man shouted, swore and refused to leave St Helier coffee shop

A 49-YEAR-OLD man shouted, swore and refused to leave a town coffee shop four days after being released from prison for disorderly conduct, the Magistrate’s Court heard.

Admitting drunk and disorderly behaviour, Christopher Henry Hall apologised to the Magistrate’s Court and said: “When I’m sober I’m a completely different person.”

The court heard that Hall was released on Friday of last week(26). But on Tuesday(30 this week he entered Bean Around The World coffee shop in Halkett Place while drunk and began approaching customers.

When asked to leave he refused and swore at staff until the police arrived.

He was fined £150 and allowed to pay at the rate of £5 per week.
