A 19-YEAR-OLD, who pushed over another man causing him to break a leg, has admitted grave and criminal assault.

Celestino Miguel Costa attacked the man in his home at 5.30pm on 19 July, the Magistrate’s Court heard.

Legal adviser Harrison Gollop, prosecuting, said Costa pushed the victim backwards, making him trip and fracture his lower right leg.

He added: ‘He then stood on top of him and threw three or four punches.’

The victim also suffered cuts to his head and bruising to his face.

Sentencing was adjourned until 28 September to allow for a pre-sentence report and Costa was released on bail.
