The orange-level warning – the second-highest alert – states that strong winds and a big tide may combine to cause disruption on some routes.
The warning says: ‘Wind and high tides will lead to waves breaking over sea walls which may cause disruption, with water and debris on roads along Jersey’s south coast on tomorrow morning’s (Friday’s) high tide.
‘Some flooding may occur. High tide is at 8.05am (10.8m).’
Meanwhile, much of England, Wales and Scotland have suffered major disruption from heavy snowfall.
