Teenager admits attempted murder

A TEENAGER has pleaded guilty to attempted murder.

Jayden Howard (18) appeared at the Royal Court on Friday for a brief hearing in which he admitted the offence, which took place last year.

Crown Advocate Carla Carvalho, prosecuting, recommended to the court that Howard be remanded in custody until 24 March at 10am, when a date will be fixed for his sentencing.

Commissioner Sir William Bailhache, presiding, said: ‘In light of the plea you are remanded in custody until 24 March 10am where you will be present to fix a sentencing date.’

Advocate Nicholas Mière was defending.
