TELEVISION viewers living in the south of the Island have been left unable to watch certain channels today following a fault with a relay transmitter at La Collette.
ITV confirmed that residents in around 4,000 homes are unable to watch ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5, and said engineers are working to fix the problem.
Viewers in the north of the Island, and those watching on Sky or Freesat were not affected, the broadcaster added.
The issue was confirmed by monitoring website Downdetector.com, which showed Jersey as one of three ‘hot-spots’ in the British Isles – the other being in London and Swindon – where problems had been reported.
