Two-digit plates to go under the hammer

JSY003 is expected to attract significant interest when it is auctioned this weekend

TWO-digit number plates are to go on public auction at Glencoe Auction Rooms this weekend, after similar number plates attracted were sold for over £20,000 last year.

Last year J95 was sold for £28,000 and J96 was sold for £22,000. This year’s two-digit number plates on auction are JSY91 and JSY92.

In addition to JSY91 and JSY92 being sold on auction, JSY003 is also for sale.

On the popularity of the auction events, Mr Drieu said: ‘Around 100 people attend the auctions. This has been reduced because people have been attending remotely online over the last couple of years.’
