The States police say the alleged victim reportedly had his wallet, phone and cigarettes taken from him while walking along Elizabeth Place on the bank holiday Monday. He sustained minor injuries and was treated in hospital.
The force says it has arrested a 39-year-old man on suspicion of robbery. He has been released on bail while enquires continue.
