According to the charity, crews were called out to the incident on Tuesday[25AUG] at 3.50pm in rough conditions, with large waves and winds reaching up to force eight.
There was no one onboard the stricken vessel and a crew member was put on board to attach a line to allow the yacht to be towed away.
The same crews were again called out at 7pm to reports that a 23ft yacht had broken free from its mooring and had drifted near to the Liberation. The yacht sustained extensive damage but was able to be towed away.
