Public drugs warning after man dies

The States police are now investigating after being contacted by the Ambulance Service at 2.28am on Saturday.

The force said that four people – three men and one woman – aged between 17 and 26 have been arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs and various addresses were searched. In an update on Saturday night, the police said the four remained in custody while investigations continued. Meanwhile, the three males treated in hospital had been discharged and were ‘fit and well’, they said.

The force also reiterated a warning to the public about not taking the drug: ‘The public are being advised against the use of MDMA and that anybody who may have taken the drug recently and may be feeling unwell or have suffered any adverse effects is to seek medical attention.’

Anyone with information is asked to call police headquarters on 612612 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or contact the charity via the online form at Crimestoppers-uk.org.
