An online appeal to raise funds to restart the search, which was launched by Mr Ibbotson’s family last month, has so far raised more than £247,000.
In an update on the gofundme.com fundraising page, Mr Ibbotson’s daughter, Danielle, said: ‘Thank you all so much for your support. We are looking to have the deep divers start hopefully beginning of next week.
‘We are just waiting on confirmation of dates to update you all. Also we are organising the helicopter searches of the coastal areas. Just will be starting a lot sooner than the deep dive. You have all been so amazing and thank you for all your kind messages and donations.’
Mr Ibbotson (59) was flying the plane which crashed into Channel Island waters on the evening of 21 January while carrying footballer Emiliano Sala.
Mr Sala’s body was recovered from the wreckage and his funeral was held in his home town in Argentina at the weekend.
