Andrew Gilchrist, who is commonly known as Titch, was last seen in town on Tuesday morning.
In a statement, the States police said they are ‘concerned’ for the 49-year-old’s welfare. On Friday afternoon they released CCTV images of him shopping in the Val Plaisant area.
As part of their investigation, the force has contacted Mr Gilchrist’s relatives, including those abroad, as well as his friends and work colleagues.
They have also checked with airlines.
Mr Gilchrist is 5 ft 4 ins tall, of medium build and has white hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark blue Adidas hooded top with light blue sleeves and a green khaki cap when he went missing.
