And Unite the Union regional representative Nick Corbel has confirmed that he is seeking legal advice as to whether the contract – which has been described as a ‘final offer’ – is valid.

Deputies Geoff Southern and Sam Mézec, who have been liaising with the home-care team, branded the changes ‘disgraceful’, with Deputy Mézec adding that the States seemed to be creating a ‘race to the bottom’.
