The Island’s only female Senator’s resignation was announced in Tuesday morning’s States sitting.
A by-election will be held to replace her.
She was elected to the States in October 2014 and two months later revealed that she had come very close to quitting after losing out on the Heath Minister role to Senator Andrew Green, despite her election campaign focusing strongly on Jersey’s health system.
