Police were called to the scene of the incident, in La Grande Route de St Martin, at 10.37 am.
It involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa – a hire car – and a grey Fiat Cinquecento, driven by a 20-year-old female.
Liberty Bus have tweeted to say that the Route 3 outbound at 10.22 am was diverted via Princes Tower Road to Midland Stores and on to its normal route, while the Route 23 inbound from Durrell at 10.37 am had gone to Midland Stores and was then diverted via La Hougue Bie and Princes Tower Road to Five Oaks.
It is believed that five people were involved in the incident.
