Digital ‘key’ to our economic future

Speaking at a Chamber of Commerce lunch at the Radisson Hotel, Assistant Chief Minister Philip Ozouf said on Friday that digital technology was ‘key’ to ensuring Jersey’s economic future.

And Senator Ozouf, who has worked closely with Digital Jersey to develop technology in fields such as medicine and finance in Jersey, encouraged Islanders to participate in a new consultation on Jersey’s digital sector designed to help shape a strategy for developing the industry.

He also announced the launch of a draft digital policy framework, which will set out States strategy in the sector.
