The 20 have been on a tough and intensive course led by Craig Culkin and Ryan Hodgson, of the Rock Fitness Centre, in preparation for the Rock White-Collar Boxing event being held at the Royal Jersey Showground to raise money for Mind Jersey.
They are hoping that £15,000 or more will be handed over to the charity as a result.
The 12 men and eight women, mostly from the finance sector, are aged between 30 and 50 and have had to learn everything about boxing, from lacing the boots and sparring against each other to getting fit.
