The value of grants totalling more than £75,000 was £38 million, whereas in the previous year the figure was just above £31 million.
A total of 39 organisations received grants – three more than in 2013.
One of the main reasons for the increase was a £3.5 million grant for the National Trust of Jersey to purchase Plémont Headland.
