He said that although no discussions about the future of the plot had been held, all options would be considered and talks would probably include using the site for housing or even as the home of a new parish hall.
Mr Pallett stressed that however the Les Quennevais site was used in the future, it was crucial that proposals were sensitive to the area and that the new development would not add to parking and traffic problems in the area.
He said that discussions about the site would not begin in earnest until the States had secured planning permission and a start date for the new school.
