volunteering’ to mark National Volunteering Week.
The Association of Jersey Charities is asking people of all ages to consider offering their time and skills to charities in Jersey.
National Volunteer Week, which runs from Saturday until Friday, will see organisations across the country highlighting the value and impact of volunteering, and will celebrate the contribution that millions of volunteers make in all sorts of ways.
In Jersey, boards advertising charity vacancies will be on display all week in various places including the Social Security Department, Co-op stores at St Peter and St Helier, Checkers Xpress in Bath Street, Ransom’s garden centre and Holme Grown farm shop.
