37 jobs lost as air conditioning firm goes under

Air Conditioning Jersey Ltd, which is based at New Street and has been in business for decades, announced the news to its staff yesterday morning.

It has also emerged that some staff at the company, which provides air conditioning, building and commercial plumbing and heating services, are owed wages which as of yesterday had not been paid.

Social Security Minister Francis Le Gresley confirmed that 37 jobs had been lost at Air Conditioning Jersey Ltd and said his department was now working with the employees affected.
