Clare Lilley of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Adrian Turpin of the Wigtown Book Festival will speak at the event in Highlands’ Great Hall, along with Assistant Education Minister Rod Bryans. Mr Turpin’s subject is entitled: ‘How not to run a Book Festival.’

The conference is now in its fifth year, and this year will cover ‘the dual impact of culture on both local communities and tourism’.

As well as the guest speakers, the conference will also feature reports from cultural development officer Rod McLoughlin, Jersey Heritage director Jon Carter and Jersey Arts Trust creative director Tom Dingle on developments over the last 12 months.
