The 20-year-old Jersey girl will face the public vote tonight after being nominated by seven of her housemates on the Channel 5 reality show.

However, despite being unpopular with many of her fellow contestants, the former Les Quennevais and Hautlieu student has been proving very popular outside of the house, with bookies announcing last week that she was the favourite to win the series.

It is the second time that Lauren has been up for eviction since the launch of the show on 5 June. Four weeks ago she beat off competition from Benedict Garrett to remain in the house and this Friday she will be up against Luke A, a transsexual who is one of her closest friends in the house.

This series of Big Brother was launched with 16 contestants, ten of whom remain in the house. The winner will receive a £100,000 cash prize.

Islanders can save Lauren from eviction by voting on Facebook or calling the premium rate number 0901 616 1709.
