The Senator said that he was ‘highly encouraged’ by talks held during the four day visit, which concentrated mainly on e-commerce.

He said that Israeli firms were interested in considering the Island as a location to access European markets.

He also said that Israeli entrepreneurs were well aware of the risks to their businesses of being located in a ‘challenging’ region of the world.

‘They like the fact that we are well located geographically and that the Island offers economic and political stability,’ he said.
