Organised by Jersey Finance, the Financial Heritage Week will feature everything from charity abseils and raffles to bake-offs and fancy dress days. All of the money raised will be donated to local charities through the Association of Jersey Charities.
Geoff Cook, chief executive of Jersey Finance, said he hoped as many people as possible would get involved.
‘Jersey has built an impressive and innovative finance industry over the last 50 years, and these celebrations give us the opportunity to reflect on all that has been achieved,’ he said. ‘The main focus of Financial Heritage Week and the year as a whole is to raise money to make a direct difference to worthy local causes, a reaffirmation of the industry’s ongoing commitment to engage with the Island community.’
