The agreement was signed last week by foreign minister Freddie Cohen at the official residence of the Argentine Republic’s ambassador in London.

The Argentine co-signatory was Dr Richardo Daniel Echegaray, head of Argentina’s Federal Administration of Public Revenues.

Senator Cohen said: ‘The signing of a tax information exchange agreement with the Argentine Republic is a further significant step forward in achieving our objective of signing agreements with all of the G20 member countries.’
