Getting the ball rolling

Jersey Football Association chief executive officer Paul Creeden met other islands’ representatives last week in the Isle of Wight during the NatWest Island Games.

Jersey, Guernsey (bronze and silver medallists, respectively, last week) and the Isle of Man will compete with Gibraltar over a weekend next June in Gibraltar.

FA official Mike Appleby, who continues to support the venture, was also in attendance at the meeting.
