Esplanade Quarter: 'Work will start in five years

The development has been in limbo since Treasury Minister Philip Ozouf announced that the deal between the Waterfront Enterprise Board and developers Harcourt had been terminated, almost a year ago.

But Stephen Izatt, the head of the new States of Jersey Development Company that has taken over from WEB, said that work to find tenants and secure leases for the new office blocks was going on, and that ‘substantial’ demand existed.
