Top Island helm Darren Stower and former Island Games medallist David Carter are teaming up for the Eurocat, racing a Hobie Tiger in the Formula 18 class.
Former Hobie youth champions Andy Hart and Michael Kinross are also competing on their Hobie Tiger while Channel Islands ladies’ champion, Yvonne Winspear, races in the Hobie 16s with Luc Richard.
Youth sailor Laurence Carter joins forces once again with Josh Potts, a partnership that won the Hobie 16 CI Championships last year, and competes as part of the GB squad on a Spitfire.
In the 25th anniversary year of this prestigious international event, organisers are expecting over 300 crews to take part, attracting sailors not only from Europe but also worldwide.
The Jersey teams are supported by the Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club and Condor Ferries.
