Martin Colligan and Gideon du Val beat seven other teams to the title on the south coast last weekend to move to within 26-points of championship leaders, Grandstand Motor Sports, with one event to go.

The Channel Islands racing duo claimed their inaugural P1 SuperStock trophy after they powered past the chequered flag in first place during race two. It meant Colligan and Du Val edged out fellow Jersey powerboat pilot, Liam McDermott, from Team Purple, into second place after the latter took the bragging rights in race one.
