After winning the National Indoor Championships in April with Troy, with the help of husband Kerry, Blandin immediately started her outdoor campaign with Team Blandin’s Welsh pony Carrwood Acclaim, plus newly-acquired Dabido, a 14-hand German Sports pony.

From their first excursion into outdoor competition the Blandins began to tot up the points, initially, in April, at the Ashfield Carriage Driving Centre in Essex, where Acclaim performed exceptionally well first in dressage and then around the obstacle course, with Blandin driving exceptionally fast to record her first win of the summer season.
