This put our win against them, by just one goal in the first game of the season, into perspective,’ said coach Ally Meredith afterwards.
‘We had five players away for one reason or another which meant we had to play two of our players out of position.
We were losing by ten goals after the first quarter, but gradually hauled ourselves back into the game.
Of course I’m disappointed, but Lawn are the best side we’ve played against in this league and will almost certainly head it and win promotion.’
