Paris-based Saint-Gobain Group has bought the building materials division of DLH, the third largest builder’s merchant in Denmark.

The network has 18 outlets and employs 550 people.

Saint-Gobain is also in negotiation to buy Estonia’s leading builder’s merchant, Famar Desi, which has 700 employees.

br>The French company already owns Scandinavia’s leading plumbing and heating distributor, the DAHL Group, and says that it intends to build ‘solid bases for expansion in the Baltic countries’.
