The codes have been issued by the Jersey Financial Services Commission following States approval last week of regulations which transfer the regulation of fund functionaries from the Collective Investment Funds Law to the Financial Services Law.
The ultimate intention is to bring all the finance sectors under the one all-embracing Financial Services Law.
The new codes apply to all those registered by the JFSC under Article 9 of the Financial Services Law to carry on fund services business.
