Chief Minister addresses FT’s breakfast debate

During a question and answer session Senator Frank Walker was asked about GST and said that he believed that it would come in: ‘It is only a question of when and not if.’ On the platform with Senator Walker were Paul Patterson, head of the Royal Bank of Canada in Jersey, accountant Kathy Gillen of Moore Stephens, Lawrence Huggler of Huggler Hotels and Jonathan Jones of Jersey Pottery. Questions mostly centred on the future of the finance industry and the Island’s international relations.
