Burglars confronted by naked home owner

Paul Yates had grabbed hold of someone, who turned out to be a woman, crouched in the bushes close to his home in Le Petit Pré in the early hours of last Saturday. He was then attacked by her male accomplice. The man also threatened to stab Mr Yates before the couple ran away. Mr Yates believes that the intruders may have entered their home more than once during the night and removed property including a laptop, wallets and passports. Two people have been arrested.
